Paul Davis is a life-long resident of Cooper County.
Paul and his wife, Debby (formerly Debby Kirschman,
Prairie Home) make their home east of Boonville. Their
daughter, Jennifer, lives in San Francisco, and their son,
Andrew, is a freshman at Central Methodist University
in Fayette. |

| “I know how to coordinate projects under multiple agencies and conflicting regulations, and can bring these skills to the county commission.” Davis has been involved with Cooper County Republican activities for many years, including serving as president of the Cooper County Republican Club for ten years. In April 2008, Davis was elected to the Board of Trustees of Cooper County Memorial Hospital. He also serves as a volunteer ombudsman for the Central Missouri Agency on Aging, advocating for residents at Riverdell Care Center, and is a member of the Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church Finance Committee, where his wife of 25 years, Debby, serves as Choir Director. Davis is a member of Missouri Farm Bureau. |

Davis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from Colorado College, providing skills he brought back to Cooper County, working with the family farm of nearly four decades. He served as president of Howard County Levee District #4 for over 20 years, and currently serves on the board of the Missouri Levee and Drainage District Association, the Boonville Rotary Club, and the Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce. Davis serves as the Cooper County representative on the Mid-Missouri Regional Planning Commission Transportation Advisory Committee. |

| He is past president of the Boonville Rotary Club, Boonville Jaycees, Boonville Community Theater, and is a past director of the Friends of Historic Boonville. Davis recently completed his second term as treasurer of the Cooper County Extension Council. Davis serves as the Cooper County representative to the Central Missouri Regional Extension Council and is a member of the Missouri Department of Corrections Adult Education Advisory Committee. |

| Davis said the technical experience he brings to the county commission will be a timely improvement. “I would like to see Cooper County make maximum use of the high-tech GIS system as a resource available to all citizens,” Davis explained, “and ensure state-of-the-art interoperability with communications systems throughout Cooper County.”
